Static Major Is Music

Exclusive song is provided by Neeze, courtesy of Swatt Music EDIT: So another version of "La La Land" has surfaced the internet... Still no confirmation on who wrote this version of the track. The verse and bridge is still the stuff that Static wrote, but the verses are different. This leads me to my question...which version of the song do you prefer?

One of my favourite Brandy songs of all time and also one of my favourite Static songs of all time. I certainly felt this song would have at least advanced to the second round of the March Madness, but oh well. You may also recognize this beat because it was in a clip from Jay-Z's Fade to Black DVD. As you can already tell, the drums are slightly different from the Timbaland/Jay-Z clip. Here's something for you to listen though: This is Static's demo of the track for Brandy. The elements of the beat are the same, but it seems Timbaland revamped the beat by adding more sounds to the final version (Brandy). Edit: Shout to Dude over at the Brandy forum for hooking me up with another version of "Come As U Are". This version was on the Afrodisiac album sampler. Notice the crazy bass line on the song? The drums are different as well, from both the Static version and the final version of the song. I wonder why Timbaland changed it.

Ginuwine ventured out and started working with other producers, Missy started writing for other artists like Monica and Tweet, Timbaland focused on his Beat Club label and of course, Playa had their conflicts with not only their label but also conflict within the group. As everyone drifted apart, we began to notice arguably the best songwriting/production duo in music missing in action. (Static and Timbaland). In fact, Static was nowhere to be found on Timbaland's 2003 album " Under Construction, Part II ", after being a huge part of Timbaland's earlier albums. Fortunately for us though, Timbaland and Static did work on a couple of tracks together. You may already know about this song, but it was a bonus track so some of ya'll may have not heard it before. This song is a banger! I still have no idea wh...
