Static Major Is Music

Here is another joint that Playa did for Nicole Wray back in the day. Although this song gets overshadowed by "Eyes Better Not Wander" and "Raise Your Frown" (as they should, those two tracks are classics) let's not forget about this nice jam. What's interesting is that even though all three of the songs had similiar production, Playa was able make all these songs different from each other. On a side note, for fans who want to know what's going on with Nicole Wray a Youtube friend of mine, remnzt6, has started a Nicole Wray blog. Check it out and make sure you give the site lots of love: http://www.missnicolewray.blogspot.com/

In this interview done back in 2004, Nicole Wray talks about her relationship with Missy Elliott and her own music situation. So if you're a fan of Nicole, definitely check out the interview and see what's up. And check out that acapelle at 4:20. One of my favourite Static written songs ever!

You may Nicole Wray from back in the day. She had the huge Timbaland produced hit "Make It Hot", and she was also signed to Missy Elliott's label. What you might not have known is that Static wrote three songs for her on her debut album "Make It Hot" (which by the way is still slept on, as is Nicole herself.) I will probably post the other two songs on here eventually, but I'm going to post my favourite one of the three that Static wrote, and that would be "Raise Your Frown" which was written and produced by Playa and also contains background vocals from them.
