Static Major Is Music

I believe this song was produced by Rudy, but I may be wrong. And for those that have listened to the interview we did with Rudy , you may remember Rudy mentioning that Pleasure P recorded this song as well. This track is actually one that I think would fit well with Pleasure. What do you think of this jam?

Here is a track we've been meaning to post, but Slam has been busy making $$$$$ This track was produced by Rudy.

Here is the instrumental to the Rudy produced smash hit "On The Hotline" by Pretty Ricky The beat in the song is a combination of samples taken from the Isley Brothers' "Between the Sheets", Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" and Newcleus' "Jam On It", not to mention Rick James' hit single Mary Jane. I should also mention again that Static wrote an entirely different song called "After Dark" to the same beat.

Here is one of my person fav Static songs. This is probably one of the more popular Static songs as it was on his myspace for a long time. The song also showcases Static's harmonies and how great they were. I believe this song was produced by Rudy, but I may be wrong on that. Anyway, enjoy!

Here is the first single off "Suppertime". Unfortunately this song didn't blow up like it should have. With that being said though, the track is still crazy! With production by Rudy and some help from the duo of Goodfella and YV, Static put it all together and created a timeless masterpiece. As Goodfella said, this is probably the ghettoest pop song ever. So the question for today is: What was your initial reaction when you first heard "I Got My"? If you've followed Static's career you must already know what a versatile musician he was. Not only was he an incredible singer, but he could also drop the dopest rhymes and craft the flyest beats. I started this last week, but never finished it. But here it is: Many of you are probably saying "Who?". Well, she's better known over here as Tamieka, the incredible vocalist on tracks like "Wheels Fall Off", "Desire" and "Half a Day". She saw our blog and was overwhelmed by the love that all of you showed her, so she's decided to share a track with us. This track is called "Respect Women", which was co-written by Tamieka and Static. The song includes production from Rudy and Static. From Tamieka's own words: "This song is about the embracing Women because we go through so much.Women need to know that we should have close relationships because we have so many issues in common" So sit back and listen to the incredible vocals of Tamieka. So we have this hot joint produced once again by Rudy. Though I don't want to take away the attention from this track, some of us fans noticed that Static wrote another track called "Fired" for 50 Cent (according to Static's myspace anyway). So the question is, did someone just make a mistake with that 50 Cent song? I've looked on ASCAP along with many other sites and Static's name is nowhere on the 50 Cent track. In my opinion, this 50 Cent song doesn't have any of Static's elements to it. There can only be 3 theories to this mystery: 1. Static did write the hook for "Fire" by 50 Cent 2. The hook was written by Sean Garrett, but someone may have saw S. Garrett and thought it was Static. I should note though that S. Garrett isn't even credited so this theory is flawed already, lol. 3. Someone got "Fire" by Lil Eazy E and "Fire" by 50 Cent mixed up. Let me know what you think and hopefully someone can clarify the whole ...

As much flack as Pleasure P gets on this blog (lol), we need to also keep in mind that he's been repping Static as hard as anyone has. So today I present to you two tracks by Pleasure P that may or may not be written by Static. The first one we have is "Chocolate Coated Candy", which is produced by Rudy. It's never actually been confirmed that this was written by Static. I had just assumed it was because it was a Rudy produced track. The next track we have is "Lick Lick Lick", which will probably be a lot harder to solve because it doesn't sound like a Rudy beat. As I listen to some of the runs that Pleasure is doing on this song, I can definitely hear Static on it. It might just be influenced by Static though, considering they worked together on Pretty Ricky's first two albums and also on Pleasure's solo album. Let me know what you think. As you may know Static has worked on a great deal of songs with producer and singer/songwriter Rudy. One of these songs is 'I see you', which was featured on Rudy's mixtape. If you listen carefully, you might recognize a part from another Static-penned song. Question:which song am I talking about?
