Static Major Is Music

Here's a picture Neeze decided to share with us. You can see the producer Bud'da on there, along with Jeffrey "J-Dub Walker. And of course, Tim Barnett's name is on there as well. Though this is a Static blog, we're going to be looking out for the Aaliyah fans as well.

I'm telling you guys, it was a ball! We played a bunch of joints from Suppertime, and then Neeze rolled in and started playing a bunch of unreleased stuff. - An old JoJo track called "Bad Boy" - A Brandy joint produced by Dr Dre, written by Static - A huge amount of records from Static's library All in all, for those that no showed, you guys missed out on a lot. But everyone deserves a second chance. We'll have more listening parties in the future. And check this out, if we get a huge amount of people on Skype, Neeze will play stuff from... ... DA BASSMENT era.

Here is the second portion of the interview. Most of them answered the questions that the readers wanted to know!

DJ Slam, Tim and I talked for a good 3 hours or so. While I was editing everything, I realized there was way too much stuff. So I've decided to split this into three sections because no one is going to sit here and listen to a 3 hour interview, lol. The other two sections will be posted in the coming weeks. We talked about a lot of stuff that I had no idea about, and I consider myself a HUGE Playa fan. DJ Slam and Tim did the interview, while I recorded it. UPDATE: The interview will take place Thursday night, so get all your final questions in! Tim Barnett, better known to some as Static's best friend, will take the time out of his busy schedule to discuss the ins and outs of moments that happened in Static's musical career. Along with that, he's also giving the readers of this site an opportunity to ask some questions. So leave the questions in the comment box and I'll try to incorporate as many as them into the interview as possible. Tim was with Playa from the start and was essentially like the 4th member of Playa (still being determined if he can sing or not, lol.)
