Music: Static Major - Slow Jams (feat. Goodfella & Animal)

I know most of you are enjoying the Christmas mixtape and we hope you are because we put in a lot of work into it. However to many people, there is one glaring omission on the tracklist and that is the track "Slow Jams" produced by Willy Will.

Basically we forgot to put the track on the mixtape, so I've decided to put it out for everyone who was expecting the track to be on it.

We will also be interviewing the producer Willy Will soon to discuss the background information of not only this track but also the Twista version. I know some you have questions for him, so you can put them in the comments section.

& What Was Tha Sample Static Used In That Track ??? (Right At The Part Where He Say, "If I Get All Tha Waaaaaay To The Floor, Baby Hold On To My Shoulder"....I Know I Heard That By Some Other R&B Act, Let Me Know)

Released with no real promotion (but Louisville resident as i know, had this mixtape for a while), i guess lot of us didn't know about it until lately. This is for the hood lovers, got Lil Flip on it, Young Sears productions, it's OG Music here! We also got Playa songs on it. I guess Static wanted to give us just a taste of what Suppertime could be, the "Vol. 1" meaned it had to has other volume coming, but for this one like i said, it's OG Music except the last track... Edit: You can listen & buy the mixtape here U...

Taura "Aura" Jackson talks about "Crazy" and Static Major

I've posted some information on the blog exclusive joint "Crazy" by Aura already, but I figured it would make more sense if we heard it straight from her, because she was actually there. So here is the very talented Aura talking about the history of the track: I was signed to Atlantic at the time. Gee Roberson was my A&R and he manages Kanye. Kanye came to the studio and had forgotten his records, but I'm an avid Joni Mitchell fan and had some of her records there. It was like magic watching Kanye work. He crafted that beat like it was a priceless sculpture. When it started to come together Gee, who managed Static at that time too said "What do you think about Static co-writing with you?" Well, I was ecstatic, pun fully intended. Within an hour or so, Static came over. I was fully aware and familiar with his work with Playa, Aaliyah, Genuine and he had also written my girl Truth Hurts super sick single "Addicted", so I was excited. He came in...
