I've been posting a bunch of rap tracks for everyone, but it's time I flip it back to R&B for a minute. This track was produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and also features a rap by Darkchild.
I don't really know a lot about this track, but notice how Rodney Jerkins says "Darkchild...Playa"? Does that mean this was going to be for Playa?

Static did write this for Playa. The main reason that I wanted to share this track with you all is to show you how Static worked with every major producer in the game. Not only for other artist but for Playa as well. He always kept Playa in mind when ever he was doing something...
ReplyDeleteLike he said, Static "MAJOR". He was so subliminal. Just like how he repped for Louisville by throwin our slang/lingo in his artists songs. Ill shit.
ReplyDeletei love the bouncy, happy feel to this song...a definite hit had it been released!
ReplyDeleteStatic always do his thang. A dude with versatility. U can throw any beat at him and he will make it a hit. Love this musical genius to death. R.I.P. I know u r still looking down on us and r with us thru your music.
ReplyDeleteis it possible for u to post downloads for this song as well as other Static Major songs that u post. A mixtape would be great! Whether free or not I would pay for it. Money could go to Static and Tim Barnett's organization which is named after Static's sister. Just a suggestion. Lifetime Static Fan.

@Jasmine, most of the songs that we have posted are in the Music Download Center. You can find the link to it under "Additional Links". It's to the left of this page.
ReplyDeleteI dont too care for Darkchild, but this beat is hot and of course Static kills it...nice up
ReplyDeleteStatic killed it...again! there's not one song he did that I don't like!thanks again Neeze and Kyle for uploading this!
ReplyDeleteThis song was probbaly for the Playa album because Jerkins was working with Blackgroud at that time.
