From time to time, all artists go through creative blocks and that is exactly what we are going through, so we turn to all of you fans. At www.staticmajorismusic.com we want to not only inform you about stuff, but we also want this site to be enjoyable. So the question is...what would bring the blog to the next level? More songs? More interviews? More contests? Let us know!

    I think you should have more competitions like you did that time, in which the contestants had to sing over the uncompleted song and people had to vote their favorite. I think the more interactive things that get people involved would help take this website to the next level and make it more enjoyable. But I think TSM are doing a very good job.

    I'd like to see more content dealing with Static that isn't music related e.g pictures and things.

    i would like to see a campaign for a Static Duets album like Biggie did, maybe it would earn a Grammy who knows.

    video footage would be dope...like some vids showing static in the studio (with aaliyah for example :))

Music: Static Suppertime Mixtape Vol. 1 (2004) DOWNLOAD LINK

Tipsy (3:23) I've heard back in 2005 somebody talk about that "Suppertime Mixtape", but i found it in 2008, & unfortunaly, the mixtape was just available in mp3 format. Released with no real promotion (but Louisville resident as i know, had this mixtape for a while), i guess lot of us didn't know about it until lately. This is for the hood lovers, got Lil Flip on it, Young Sears productions, it's OG Music here! We also got Playa songs on it. I guess Static wanted to give us just a taste of what Suppertime could be, the "Vol. 1" meaned it had to has other volume coming, but for this one like i said, it's OG Music except the last track... Taura "Aura" Jackson talks about "Crazy" and Static Major

I've posted some information on the blog exclusive joint "Crazy" by Aura already, but I figured it would make more sense if we heard it straight from her, because she was actually there. So here is the very talented Aura talking about the history of the track: I was signed to Atlantic at the time. Gee Roberson was my A&R and he manages Kanye. Kanye came to the studio and had forgotten his records, but I'm an avid Joni Mitchell fan and had some of her records there. It was like magic watching Kanye work. He crafted that beat like it was a priceless sculpture. When it started to come together Gee, who managed Static at that time too said "What do you think about Static co-writing with you?" Well, I was ecstatic, pun fully intended. Within an hour or so, Static came over.
