This song is a straight up R&B classic. From Timbaland's triple time beat, to the bell sample (which would appear later on tracks by Ginuwine, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake), to the sax, to the echoed "Oh's", to Smokey and Black singing their hearts out, and then finally to Static's killer falsetto.
