Bassment Listening Party TONIGHT AT 10 PM ET

What's up everyone, TONIGHT AT 10 PM ET we will have a listening party for the Bassment material we converted from the tape. Even though we plan to eventually post most of it on here, most of what we will play is exclusive and hasn't been heard but just about anyone. So please come and join us this Sunday. Let us know if you plan to attend by dropping a line on here.

Edit: It's going down tonight, we'll have the ustream link up for everyone 30 mins prior to the start.

Released with no real promotion (but Louisville resident as i know, had this mixtape for a while), i guess lot of us didn't know about it until lately. This is for the hood lovers, got Lil Flip on it, Young Sears productions, it's OG Music here! We also got Playa songs on it. I guess Static wanted to give us just a taste of what Suppertime could be, the "Vol. 1" meaned it had to has other volume coming, but for this one like i said, it's OG Music except the last track... Taura "Aura" Jackson talks about "Crazy" and Static Major

I've posted some information on the blog exclusive joint "Crazy" by Aura already, but I figured it would make more sense if we heard it straight from her, because she was actually there. So here is the very talented Aura talking about the history of the track: I was signed to Atlantic at the time. Gee Roberson was my A&R and he manages Kanye. Kanye came to the studio and had forgotten his records, but I'm an avid Joni Mitchell fan and had some of her records there. It was like magic watching Kanye work. He crafted that beat like it was a priceless sculpture. When it started to come together Gee, who managed Static at that time too said "What do you think about Static co-writing with you?" Well, I was ecstatic, pun fully intended. Within an hour or so, Static came over.
