Music: Da Bassment - Ain't Nothin' But A B-Party

So on this track, we have Timbaland, Magoo, Static, Smokey and Black all on one track. For the people that don't know, this was going to be the first single off the Bassment compilation that Devante was going to put out. This material has never been on the internet...until now, all thanks to my man Neeze. A lot of you may recognize the hook because they reused the hook for the song "Smoke In Da Air" off Timbaland & Magoo's first album "Welcome To Our World".

  11. Smoke used to bump this with another joint from around that time that Tim produced called "Ride Around"...we used to blaze up and chill bumpin this when he used to live on Greenwood...The Bassment had so many hot joints that never seen the light of day...when Tim's album dropped, I remember thinking, "i like the demo better"...I remember listening to Playa doing the REFERENCES to Jodeci's album before it dropped..and riding in Nashville to "Luv 2 Luv U" before it came out...those were the days...I was so proud of them...I've been there every step of the way...

  12. Put up those Rapture & E. Seats joints!! Those were the REAL joints right there, I remember asking Static why he scrapped all those joints while he was recording Suppatime, and he told me, "wait 'til you hear what I got now"...that when he let me hear the "Soul Back" joint he did for Mary J. Shit, I was at the studio w/ them in L.A when the Truth Hurts track got dropped off to him

Tipsy (3:23) I've heard back in 2005 somebody talk about that "Suppertime Mixtape", but i found it in 2008, & unfortunaly, the mixtape was just available in mp3 format. Released with no real promotion (but Louisville resident as i know, had this mixtape for a while), i guess lot of us didn't know about it until lately. This is for the hood lovers, got Lil Flip on it, Young Sears productions, it's OG Music here! We also got Playa songs on it. I guess Static wanted to give us just a taste of what Suppertime could be, the "Vol. 1" meaned it had to has other volume coming, but for this one like i said, it's OG Music except the last track... Edit: You can listen & buy the mixtape here U...
