Music: Truth Hurts - Real

For the ones that listened to the Truth interview, you guys may have heard Truth Hurts talking about the Timbaland/Scott Storch produced track "Real" off her debut album. Personally, this song was a slower grower for me but I grew to like it.

You guys may have also heard Slam mentioning something about the demo of that song, so here it is for everyone courtesy of Tim Barnett. I'll say it once and I'll say it again, it's always interesting to notice the small changes from Static's demo to the final version.

  1. I love Static's demos, thanks so much for posting!

  2. slower grower? You shouldn't have to force music onto yourself

  3. We would only be listening to Jay Sean, Jason DeRulo and Taio Cruz if that was the case. Some songs just take longer to grow on you. I didn't initially like the Cheers 2 U album, but it grew on me.

  4. link is not working

I've heard back in 2005 somebody talk about that "Suppertime Mixtape", but i found it in 2008, & unfortunaly, the mixtape was just available in mp3 format.
Released with no real promotion (but Louisville resident as i know, had this mixtape for a while), i guess lot of us didn't know about it until lately.
This is for the hood lovers, got Lil Flip on it, Young Sears productions, it's OG Music here! We also got Playa songs on it.
I guess Static wanted to give us just a taste of what Suppertime could be, the "Vol. 1" meaned it had to has other volume coming, but for this one like i said, it's OG Music except the last track...

Edit: You can listen & buy the mixtape here
