I don't think I even need to introduce this song. If you're a true Static follower, you will recognize this title immediately.

This is taken from Static's myspace:
On “Miracles,” he opines, “I got $20 in my pocket/a quarter tank of gas,” reasoning, “the ‘hood draws to [the subject matter] because in the ‘hood they believe in miracles every day. The light bill’s getting ready to go out and the something happens and – boom! – they can pay the light bill.”

So kick back and listen to Static at his best. This song was produced by J Valentine according to Rudy.



And a quick blog update for everyone:
I (Buddha) won't be around as much for the next month because I'm going on vacation, so please don't be mad if I don't respond to your e-mails right away.     J Valentine did his thing on the beat, this is a classic song, I only wished it coulda seen a proper release with the right setup & blew up the way he wanted it to, album closer or a single, the game is still missing him, you hear his influences but there's something that just can't be imitated or duplicated

    So many different styles no wonder he had trouble deciding on what to put on his album, how do you measure genius, you just can't, man if he put out a hundred albums i would buy them all.

I guess Static wanted to give us just a taste of what Suppertime could be, the "Vol. 1" meaned it had to has other volume coming, but for this one like i said, it's OG Music except the last track... Music: Static Major - Questions (Aaliyah's Demo) (UPDATE WITH FULL SONG)

As we all know, Static & Aaliyah were close, you can feel the chemistry between the writer and the singer, and Static most impressive talent was his ability to write for a woman, to express a woman's feeling. So there's the song "Questions" produced by Buddha, wrote & sung by Static, a demo song for Aaliyah, made around 2000-2001 i think. I don't know yet if she had the chance to record it for herself, but Static version shows his falsetto skills, he wrote for a woman, & even sing the demo like Aaliyah should sing it, amazing! Stay tune for a snippet listening, something rare that i'm sure you don't wanna miss! UPDATE: Here is the first installment of Static Music Monday.

Album: Playa - Throwback Legendz

I'm sure a lot of you have already heard most, if not all, of the album. Smokey has been selling it on his website and I've also been uploading the songs on Youtube. So instead of choosing one of those two options, we've decided to let everyone download this unreleased classic album for free. And I bet a lot of you could probably care less because you've heard every song already right? Wrong. Check out the final version of "Hollywood" that was not included in Smokey's unreleased Playa compilation.
