Myself and Neeze just finished up this great interview with Digital Black. He really touched on a lot in here, so make sure you listen to the whole thing and of course leave your feedback.     Interview was GREAT! Good job on the questions ya'll. Haven't heard much from Black on the site or anywhere so this was perfect. His gospel group Totally Dedicated is also real nice. If it weren't for this interview it would of taken me a minute to check out Ride 4 Me! The title alone kind of plays down how deep the song goes as Black mentioned but it really has to be one of the top Playa songs now in my opinion.

    this was dope..i can't lie i started to feel a lump in the throat when he mentioned how static came to his son's football game..it was as if i could picture him,,reminiscing back to that day, lookin up and seeing static comin up the sideline..that was powerful..that story alone is a true testament to his character. RIP Static and we need another playa joint bad!!

Released with no real promotion (but Louisville resident as i know, had this mixtape for a while), i guess lot of us didn't know about it until lately. This is for the hood lovers, got Lil Flip on it, Young Sears productions, it's OG Music here! We also got Playa songs on it. I guess Static wanted to give us just a taste of what Suppertime could be, the "Vol. 1" meaned it had to has other volume coming, but for this one like i said, it's OG Music except the last track... Taura "Aura" Jackson talks about "Crazy" and Static Major

I've posted some information on the blog exclusive joint "Crazy" by Aura already, but I figured it would make more sense if we heard it straight from her, because she was actually there. So here is the very talented Aura talking about the history of the track: I was signed to Atlantic at the time. Gee Roberson was my A&R and he manages Kanye. Kanye came to the studio and had forgotten his records, but I'm an avid Joni Mitchell fan and had some of her records there. It was like magic watching Kanye work. He crafted that beat like it was a priceless sculpture. When it started to come together Gee, who managed Static at that time too said "What do you think about Static co-writing with you?" Well, I was ecstatic, pun fully intended. Within an hour or so, Static came over.
