  15. Just Out Of Curiosity, Will The Tracks Be In Full CDQ, Or Will There Be Tags, Blended Tracks, Cut Offs Or Sound Effects ? Cuz I Know Alotta Mixtapes Have The Dj Saying His Name Through The Tracks Like 5 Times & Sometimes It's Not The Full Track, The Next Song Is Blended In To The Song After It Etc. Etc. Just Wondering. Will It Be Like An Album/Mixtape ? Thanks Alot Thoough For This XXclusive. Thanks To Neeze, Buddah, Farid, Dj Slam & Luke. U Don't Know How Much We Appreciate This. Let Me Know!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yes they will be in CDQ. Not too sure if they're going to be tagged yet, but they will be blended. Eventually we're going to leak the songs in full, but this mixtape is just a teaser of what's to come soon!

As a listener myself, I understand the annoyances of that kind of stuff so we're trying our best. :)

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think there will be some tag, but not like Dj Clue do, you know lol, just a little to adverstise the blog, so people knows about us, dont don't worry, it won't affect the song.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thanx Alot Guys, Just Heard Tha Mixtape, DOOOPE !!! Thanks For Answering, I hear tha Tags, But It Didn't Mess Up Tha Songs. Thanks For Eventually Leakin Em Too. Were Any Of These "Bassment" Tracks?

    ReplyDelete
  19. @Anonymous, none of these were from "The Bassment" era. These were tracks that I had in Statics vault! Stay tuned because I have some songs from that era as well. Its just a matter of time. I hope that you help spread the word about the blogspot! Merry Christmas to you all! I'm sure a lot of fans would love to buy that dvd. and speaking of dvd's: I was just curious if the dvd and soundtrack for 'the Devil's Grind' starring TQ was or will be released? I've heard Static played a role in it and was involved in the soundtrack?I've been searching my ass off for it, but i can't find it anywhere. I heard it was going to be released in 2007 or 2008...

1. Stay Laced (Featuring Lil Flip) (4:14) 2. The Hood (Featuring Lil Flip) (3:41) 3. Rida (Featuring Lil Flip & Cassidy) (2:45) 4. She Say (Featuring Playa) (3:58) 5. Rollin (3:49) 6. Tipsy (3:23) I've heard back in 2005 somebody talk about that "Suppertime Mixtape", but i found it in 2008, & unfortunaly, the mixtape was just available in mp3 format. Released with no real promotion (but Louisville resident as i know, had this mixtape for a while), i guess lot of us didn't know about it until lately. This is for the hood lovers, got Lil Flip on it, Young Sears productions, it's OG Music here! We also got Playa songs on it. I guess Static wanted to give us just a taste of what Suppertime could be, the "Vol. 1" meaned it had to has other volume coming, but for this one like i said, it's OG Music except the last track... Edit: You can listen & buy the mixtape here U

Music: Static Major - Questions (Aaliyah's Demo) (UPDATE WITH FULL SONG)

As we all know, Static & Aaliyah were close, you can feel the chemistry between the writer and the singer, and Static most impressive talent was his ability to write for a woman, to express a woman's feeling. So there's the song "Questions" produced by Buddha, wrote & sung by Static, a demo song for Aaliyah, made around 2000-2001 i think. I don't know yet if she had the chance to record it for herself, but Static version shows his falsetto skills, he wrote for a woman, & even sing the demo like Aaliyah should sing it, amazing! Stay tune for a snippet listening, something rare that i'm sure you don't wanna miss! UPDATE: Here is the first installment of Static Music Monday.

Album: Playa - Throwback Legendz

I'm sure a lot of you have already heard most, if not all, of the album. Smokey has been selling it on his website and I've also been uploading the songs on Youtube. So instead of choosing one of those two options, we've decided to let everyone download this unreleased classic album for free. And I bet a lot of you could probably care less because you've heard every song already right? Wrong. Check out the final version of "Hollywood" that was not included in Smokey's unreleased Playa compilation. So consider this an exclusive courtesy of www.staticmajorismusic.com Big shout-out to Farid for hooking me up with this track and also the entire album in CDQ. http://www.4shared.com/file/H5qAKnAu/Playa_-Throwback_Legendz__2002.html
